Union Bank gets new ED
Union Bank of India has said Nitesh Ranjan has assumed charge as the bank’s Executive Director.

Hyderabad: Union Bank of India has said Nitesh Ranjan has assumed charge as the bank's Executive Director. He was the Chief General Manager of the bank before assuming as ED, who is responsible for steering bank's vision and goals including strategic agenda of end-to-end digitization.
Rajan started his career as management trainee at Food Corporation of India (FCI) and then moved to Andhra Bank. He joined Union Bank in 2008 where he served as Treasurer, Chief Investor Relations officer, Head of balance-sheet management group, Chief Economist, and Regional Head in the bank. He completed leadership development programme from IIM Bangalore, curated by the Banks Board Bureau in consultation with Indian Banks' Association and Egon Zehnder International.
